Do I need a fire risk assessment
It is a legal requirement for all commercial and shared residential premises to have a valid fire risk assessment complying to either PAS79-1 or PAS79-2 standards. If you a re responsible for the property (other than a single use dwelling) you must have a an assessment completed by a competent assessor / company.

The law states that the competent person must be able to meet the standards set out in PAS79, they must have suitable training, experience and knowledge. Being members of recognised regulatory bodies adds confidence in competencies, such as FPA, BAFE, IFE, FIA amongst others

What happens if I do not have a FRA?
It is likely an enforcement notice is registered against your organisation is issued by local authorities and fire service(s).

PAS79 Compliance
Our assessments adhere to PAS79 standards to satisfy all regulatory authorities. All reports are issued by your assessor on the day of your survey in PDF, Word or Excel Format, Your report will include all sections of the diagram shown, along with high resolution pictures of improvements required in addition to examples of good practice.
